Dividing Attachment for Mini Lathe

I built this dividing attachment to fit my 7 X 16 mini lathe due to a project I had involving the engraving and stamping of micrometer dials and 360 degree angular setting dials for the cutter grinder I built. I have used it for other projects since such as engraving the lines on other micrometer dials, drilling holes in dividing plates, gear cutting and cutting splines in a shaft. It has come in very handy and I don't know how I ever got along without it.

I have a similar set up on my SB lathe giving 60:1 ratio

It is nowhere near as nicely made as yours but I would not be without it. BTW what ratio are you using.

Thank you for the nice complement!
The ratio I am using is 45:1 due to the fact that I am driving the standard 45 tooth spindle gear with the 8 pitch worm. I know this somewhat limits the number of possible divisions I can make, but it does everything I have needed so far. Also I could use different spindle gear if I need to divide something other than what I can do now.

Your fixture looks very nice, and quite easy to machine !

Please could you provide an additional picture showing how the fixture is mounted on the lathe ? May be on the spindle ?

I have uploaded additional photos for clarity showing the dividing attachment mounted on the mini lathe. I have added them to my original post. What may not be real clear is that the dividing attachment is mounted in a skewed position in an attempt to match the helix angle of the worm to the idler gear.

I found three more pictures I had showing another part of my dividing attachment system. It is a dividing module that mounts to the cross slide and has it's spindle center line on the mini lathe center line. It can be used in two ways (1) for simple direct indexing using the lathe change gears and spring loaded detent (2) for compound indexing using the worm and hole plates from the spindle dividing head.
