No - This is wrong on many levels.
When I saw the "Cap gun is for children over 3 years old" followed by "so don't worry about safety" - This should be taken down from this forum.
Did you see the muzzle blast when the cap fired? Six year olds don't have muzzle control.
I had plastic "potato gun" - you poke a potato into the end of the barrel and squeeze the triger to use compressed air to pop the chuck out and the first thing my grandkids did was point it at each other and fire.
