DIY Heat Treating Oven / Furnace / Kiln

Hey guys, I spent the last month making this heat treating oven! I plan on using this guy for my knife making and tool making.

I did my best to outline every step in this tutorial video. I also put a full parts list with links in the description of this video along with a wiring diagram.

Thank you. This video is perfectly timed for me- I'm considering building a 63" oven but may do a smallerone first. My only issue with your upload is I spent the last twenty minutes looking for the links and wiring diagram you mentioned. I can't find them. The Description just has a very general parts list. I finally opened up the Youtube page and found them there, but it would be helpful if you also put them here.

I am amazed at the work done to pull all this together. The overall comprehensiveness of this post goes far beyond the typical DIY postings. The quality of the video and the amount of time editing has the mark of a professional. The tempo (pace) of the video could not have been better. I also thank you for pulling the vast amount of reference material together in one location. There is surely enough information here for anyone to build your design or take off in other directions with their own design. Just amazing . . . Thank you.
