Cool Do you need Protection? | Metal Lathe Hack #6

    #MetalLathe#MetalLatheHack#MetalLatheTips

This a simple, quick and cheap way to get the protection and holding power of copper in you lathe chuck. Copper is probably the best material to use if you want to protect you work in the lathe chuck. It gives superior gripping power, it is a soft material and is very grabby (unlike brass). It needs to be thick enough to protect your work and clamp down onto.

This video is one of a series of on simple metal lathe tips & tricks in the operation of your lathe.
