    Domino-style multi-tree felling - GIF and video

What do we have here? Looks like some thinning at a tree farm. What's up with this domino felling method? I guess it's safe if each tree falls correctly. But what if there's a problem with one of the trees and it won't drop? Is this a legitimate niche tree felling method, or an arborist parlor trick?

I suppose the coefficient of danger goes down a lot since you're only next to one tree that can break its hinge and kick back into you.
