Everyone wants to write "Claw Hammer" but I'm almost certain that it is supposed to be written "Claude Hammer."

I dislike Claude Hammers, vastly preferring a carpenter's hammer. Even when hammering nails, those curved claws seem to throw the tool's balance off for me.

But your hammer heads seem to have come from carpenter's hammers. They look straight…

Not that my prejudice would apply to a tool such as you describe.
