    The first video is just so simple to make and use, it's got to be a winner.

    Where-as the second video looks like the person tried to re-invent the wheel and failed, as it takes a lot more mucking around to operate, than the first very simple and effective idea.

    It is visually obvious that the top saw, the one that the chap is pushing down on, cuts almost all the way through. The underneath saw with only spring loading appears to do very little except absorb some of the chap's effort. GIMMICK.
