All these paint can shakers puzzle me, I have in never, in some 65 years of shaking spray cans by hand, never had any problems, either with the paint or health issues with myself.

I have hated shaking them for 65 years! I like the variable speed design and you might cut (or shape) the crank to add a counter-weight effect. Great idea...THANKS.

It's kind of like hacksawing. You can certainly do it manually, but some folks like to make things that aren't really necessary to do it easier.
