Drilling Square Holes With The Drilling Jig

In this video I build an adapter to add to my lathe drilling jig to drill square holes.

Just a thought regarding the 1/2" holes... maybe drill them with just the auger, then again with the auger and chisel. The thought here is that it might reduce some of the force needed since you wouldn't be fighting as much material. It might not make any difference, but it might be worth trying.
