There's lots not right here. I'm guessing that those are roof trusses as the spacing is 24 inch on center. No strapping at all, the sheets are 1/2" so that span with no strapping on 16 inch centers you will have sagging in the ceiling panels. Buckets yeah it can work. We used to use sort horses and planks. Other guys stilts.

Admire their ability but that's a lot of corners being cut there.
