    Drywall foot lift tool

So... I know this tool is readily available at Home Depot for $11...
I guess I just wanted to see if I could make one - besides, that's $11 toward more useful items (beer).

    parts needed :
piece of scrap 1/2 - 3/4" trim (or any) wood, mine is 3/4 x 3.5 x 7" - I used it to hold some pipes while I soldered it (don't mind the 2 large holes...).
    piece of dowel or pipe - 4 - 6" long - mine is a piece of wood dowel - 3/4 x 5".
    (2) wire-ties - I used 8"
old nail puller (or a piece of metal strong enough to support the weight of a piece of drywall) -

Step 1 : Drill one hole in the piece of trim wood.
2.zip-tie the 3 pieces together. Done.
    Voila ! LOL

If you've ever hung drywall, you know how useful this little gadget is. :-p
