That thing costs $92.00 EACH! plus taxes on Amazon.ca.

I'll stick with some free strapping and four drywall screws.

Once Bob 3000 mentioned it cost $92 - I lost interest

$25 below the 49th parallel. With the USD currently worth 1.42 Canadian, that amounts to about $35.50 Canadian.

So if I send Amazon.com $35.50 and let them know Marv says it's all good they will send me one without shipping charges?

Well, maybe round it up to CAD 36 :-)

No, I was only highlighting how merchants overprice our northern neighbors - far beyond the amount needed to account for the different values of the currency.

Ya, it makes me cringe when I search for something and I get all excited when I'm directed to dot com rather than dot ca and realize I can't have it for anywhere near what we actually have to pay.

    And now....tariffs....

This would be the last way I would ever repair a hole like that! I can guarantee you that it will show a round crack in very little time. I agree with bob 3000 on the use of easily found ways from your general "fix it" box. Any drywall repair without taping it will crack.

If you can't fix a hole in drywall/sheetrock with a piece of said material and a length of wood and three screws, along with some spackle, you should not be doing such repairs...
