If they moved the barbecue they could just make a left turn and the tires would last longer.

You still should not use a Bobcat loader device as an excavator.

Bobcats, front end loaders are not made for excavation!

Agreed there are mini excavators which would fit through the gate but you would still need a bobcat to transport the spoils. There are so many 100s of different attachments that quick change on the bobcats though it makes them a very versatile tool.
A life long friend of mine started out digging pools with an old backhoe made enough money to buy a new ford 775b backhoe in 89 and a bobcat at the same time. pretty much wore both of them out the 755b is in my back yard now I've had it for 4 years. His pool business demanded bigger and faster equipment so he bought a Komatsu PC200 and a larger bobcat. He couldn't get the big machine into many back yards so he bought a Kubota KH191 excavator only 7 ft wide 14 ft digging reach. wore it out. It is in my back yard. for many of the pools he was digging the only thing that could get into the back yards were the micro machines like those bobcats in the gif and his little Kobelco 007 excavator but a bobcat with the attachments could dig faster than the kobelco so it all depends on the job application sometimes a bobcat is the better choice especially if you also have a hoe attachment or a hydraulic hammer attachment for breaking up rock or concrete.
It's too bad when he wore out his big bobcat that he traded it in otherewise it might be in my back yard as well I sure could use one.
