Easy/Cheap Sandblasting Cabinet Foot Pedal - video

This is pretty simple and straightforward. Definitely something I wish I would have done a long time ago though. Electric foot pedal for media blasting cabinets. Beats the price of an air switch by a lot, performs great with normal home shop compressors.

The electric switch is a clever way to do the job. I bought a used Norgren K7EA00 spool valve with a rocker pedal and foot guard on ebay for $30 last summer. One direction powers the always-on blaster, the other powers a simple air gun for blowing the dust off.
