Easy Method for Installing Sanding Discs

This is an old trick, but some may not be familiar with it. When installing a new sanding disc, use a razor knife to cut the backing film in half across the middle. Peel off one half of the film. Then insert the half with the film still on it down against the bare plate. Stick the exposed half on, and then rotate the disc, peel off the other half, and stick it in place.
