    ELECTROMAGNETIC PENDULUM

An electomagnetic pendulum uses neodymium magnet to the pendulum and an electromagnet in the base. The elctromagnet closes its
circuit with a reed switch (close to it) and a mosfet. The secret is that the capacitor that is connected in paralell with the coil of the electromagnet is like a brake to the current of the coil when the pendulun approaches the coil and after the capacitor discharge to the coil and repulse the neodymium magnet. A diode protectw the mosfet from the back EMF of the coil.A led is lightind when we have current to the coil.A resistor controlw the current to the gate of the mosfet and i' ve put another resistor in serie to the coil to decrease the current because my power supply is only for 2.5 A maximum and without thiw resistor it burnw the fuse. With 2 or more pendulum we can make a simple motor.
