What a cool idea! I note that he is welding well away from the magnet. Anyone else noticed the adverse effect upon the arc with stick. TIG or MIG when welding close to positioning magnets? I tend to tack and get the magnets away as soon as possible from the immediate weld area.
Yes, I’ve noticed the difficulty in welding near a strong magnet. I was curious if anyone else would bring that up since I thought maybe it was just my own experience (which is very little).
