Engine Hoist storage squeeze

Busy rebuilding my '48 MG TC. Space is always too little so when I walked into my engine hoist for the n'th time I sat down and had a look at what can be done. The folding legs go way past 90 Deg and I kept on walking into them.



So I added this bit of angle by drilling and tapping the hoist. How the legs rest up against the angle iron and secured with a bungy elastic.



S now I will destroy my ankle before I walk into one of those legs again.
