By the way, I plan on making one of these.. had an idea I was playing with carving some designs...
They aren't too terribly hard to forge. It's getting the cutting angle right that's the tough part. I used a protractor to get the 110 degree angle. I did read that 120 degrees is a good angle for a beginner just getting into it because that makes less of a chance to gouge too deep as you're going along
