Enormous torque wrench. What do we have here? Weird custom order? Joke? Why not hydraulic?

If it's fake, they put serious effort in it. Notice the telescopic handle?

While our Kit Bond Bridge [Kansas City] was built, felt privileged observing many steps of construction. The suspension cables have threaded fittings, probably 6" or 8" or diameter. Incredibly taut, essentially no cantenary slack is visible.
Off all the fascinating work, didn't get to see that part! Hell's Bells, we drove right next to it every morning!

Being a retired USAF Vet. I do remember that B-52 wing bolts Utilized something like the guys are holding in the Repair/Overhaul Depot's. There was a team that was flown around the world with sets of specialized tools like that to remove and reinstall special nuts and bolts on certain aircraft. I think those teams or at least some of them were stationed at Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Tx.

I can relate to this guy that is why I bought a 6 to 1 torque multiplier

No, that's just recoil from his knee; toting it to job in question.

And someone asked about gaskets, I'm certain exactly what they are. Very hard composition and a wax-like finish, to enable removal. I'll bet they fit a man-size access door, bolted on, to conduct structural surveys inside a pylon, ballast tank or such. Those fasteners are not subject to wrench of that magnitude.

Frank S mentions a multiplier, ideal when limited space precludes a 10' cheater bar!

I question -50 [negative points] severe enough penalty. Even a million point wrench used maybe twice a month, in comparison say, to fella working on the truck frame, can't nullify a pink tee as wardrobe element AT WORK!
Or he's a new bachelor, unskilled in separating colors from whites, come laundry day. He wears calf high boots hiding equally cute socks.
Might be fine imposed by his local, being late in union dues. . .

It's a Proto J6025, which can be set from 400-2000 ft-lbs. Why you would use this over a torque multiplier, I have no idea, but you can still buy one for ~$2300.

Some where in my stuff I have a 1 1/2" hydraulic impact wrench I bought from a rail road auction. When something needs to be really tight that thing is the way to go just preset the relief valve and every bolt/ nut will be tightened within a few %.
