Ex car mechanic

I'm a fly fisherman, I stumbled on this site, looking for a fly rod
Jig. I found some quit complex ones. I'm an avid
Outdoorsman I love making new gadgets
While I once once a CNC machinist, I'm pretty good with metal,
But oddly enough not wood! Lol hopefully I'm looking to change that, as I want to build a log
Cabin someday and at 42yrs old the clock is ticking! Hope to learn

Did you like any of the fly rod jigs you found? Which one will you build and/or adapt?
