Like many of us, I rode dirt bikes when I was A LOT younger. We rode in and around the strip mines in southern Ohio. One day we were riding along a “dry” creek bed. All the other guys made it past one spot. When got to it, the “crust” broke and my bike sank up to the gas tank in slimy, slippery red clay. Looked just like that!!

What a mess that was. We always carried a tow rope. Could not run the engine as all the fins were caked with clay.

That looks like a lucky escape. Now for some cleaning.
