Exiting a moving train. Great technique here, and I imagine he's nicely aided by the careful positioning of his load as he exits.

Probably one of those E-cigarettes and a bottle of hootch.

I understand the hooch but would have never thought about an E cigarette since I've never been around anyone who had one of them. So I am not familiar with their function.
No one I know would be caught dead huffing on one A 3 dollar stogie maybe or real cigs.
I was thinking of a paint can scraping on the floor causing a spark when it ruptured.

With E cigarettes out of your purview, it was probably a poor joke on my part but only to further the fun Jon and TM51 started. There have been quite a number of LiPo batteries in E cigarettes spontaneously bursting into flames recently in peoples pockets and purses. Likely due to poor design and rash of poor quality LiPo's (poor QA on the polymer electrolyte and/or construction) coming from across the pond. They overheat due to internal shorts or too rapid charging or discharging and go off like a Roman Candle. Not necessarily funny as people have been seriously burned and hurt but the rain dance they do may be considered funny in some twisted circles.

The GIF of the guy getting off the subway was likely a hoax video, and a well done one imho, as I giggled out loud again today at it! Consider the relative size of the flames and explosion as part of the syllogism.

As for a cigar >$3; I consider a Macanudo Portofino a minimum, a Montecristo #2 torpedo as very good, and an optimum of a Bolivar Libertador - LCDH when I can get and afford them and usually imbibed with 20-40 year Presidential Port and some quality chocolate. Guess I've been caught dead, although never meeting in person...and have high hopes that I don't explode spontaneously now and be inclined to a spasmodic rain dance.

Been practicing my Johnsanese....:p

If those E cigs can spontaneously explode I'll stick with my pipe

"Exiting a moving train"

Buenos Aires, circa 1949 - I'm 9 . Excellent transportation infrastructure even then. A vast network of subways, streetcars, electric buses, and small buses, "colectivos", ~30? person vehicles. On all of them, drivers/conductors would open doors while still in motion. It was normal to get off while vehicle was stiil moving. My first exit on a subway (not yet acquainted with any physics) was to fall violently on my side - but no explosion (those came later). I soon learnt the method, and loved to exit running. On the little colectivos, often overfull, people would hang from either side handhold of the always open single front door. Same exit method if you were hanging on and yelled "esquina!" (corner!), driver would slow, and one would jump off. I loved it. Haven't been back - perhaps it's different there now.
