That snake is really trying its best to swallow the glass walking its fangs across
I had no idea they could "walk" their fangs like that... that's kinda super creepy/sinister.
I'm more worried about the volume of venom injected - the injection volume itself would introduce a certain shock value to the body, let alone the toxicity of the venom.

Reminds me of Steve Irwin, taking too many risks.
Shitty life for a snake, much less any other animal.
I don't know this exact situation, but most snake keepers I am friends with have a separate tank/box which is designated for feeding, and another which is the normal habitat. The habitat is never used for feeding since the snake will attack the owner when cleaning or doing other work, whereas in the feeding area the owner expects the snake to be aggressive, so has additional controls in place.Quote:

This a best guess since the keepers I am friends with don't have as many snakes, and feed them over a period, not all at once.
