F-35 B crash and ejection - GIF

A zero-zero ejection from an F-35 B that crashed at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth two days ago. The pilot was hospitalized, and Lockheed Martin said that he "ejected successfully".

Wow, that's wild. I wonder what went wrong?

Also, the way he came out of that cockpit when he ejected, it almost looks like he could bang his knees or legs on the front of the cockpit. Amazing video.

I also wonder if this was just a random passerby or was this video from someone at the base?
