I don't think ten seconds of filming is going to make any difference to that machine's situation.

It would if the shaft were to break then there would be a lot more to worry about. As bad as the condition was right then as long as the shaft is not broken once it cooled and the bearing was removed the shaft could be built up and machined back to specs possibly without having to remove it with a portable journal lathe

Not one like in the link but something like my portable boring bar set up except with a cutter facing inside mounted on a hollow cylinder index beringed from the undamaged portion of the shaft closer to the belt roller

No, it didn't but the videographer couldn't have known when it would. Perhaps that was their hopes. To video what happens when the shaft broke to increase their hit count. instead to attempting to prevent more damage costing the company a lot more money and down time.
There is another scenario whoever was shooting the video may have alerted someone to shut the machine down and remained there videoing the failed bearing while a supervisor was initializing shut down. We can't know for sure there was an "E" button located on the face of the yellow box, but that is usually why boxes like that exist.
