Fellow Tool Maker and Tinkerer!

Hello everyone,

I got directed here by a comment on one of my videos I recently posted. I figured it would be a good time to start documenting some of the things I have been working on and the first thing that came to mind was a lathe boring bar spacer.

The long and short is: my tool post is 1" from the cross slide. and has a 3/8" gap the boring bar I have is 1/8 in dia and the cutting edge is 1/16" from the bottom so I needed to create a spacer to put under the boring bar and put in my tool post.

As I do not have a quick change tool post... yet.

After that project I decided to revive my RC car which is the in progress project. It is not making tooling which I understand is the focus of this form but it is a project that uses some tooling I have made.

I would love to get to know some fellow tinkerers and tool makers, most of the time to get something to work right you end up having to do it yourself!
