    File storage

Recent posts of file storage have prompted me to offer my humble solution for limited bench space.
A 576gr can of (in my case potatoes) will accept 12 short lengths of 20mm PVC overflow piping keeping separation of medium size files. I plan to use some 32mm piping horizontally glued and stacked in a box for larger files.

Only thing to improve that idea is to fill the cans with diesel fuel.

lubricate the files, stop them rusting, and drown any flies which venture into the tin (or in my case discourage mud wasps from building nests in the gaps in/between the 20mm conduit.

As said, it lubricates & keeps them from “plugging” or retaining the chips.
