    Finding the Center of Rotation of a Finger Dial Test Indicator

    In all my years playing in my shop, I've never run into a situation where I needed to know the absolute distance from the mount of my Finger Dial Test Indicator to the finger's contact point. Today I had the need. Here is how I measured this distance to within 0.001 inches.
