I used to have 3 sections of wooden ladder like that. Had "Columbus Window Cleaning" stenciled on the side. Each section was narrower than the one below. The pieces I had were center sections. Total height about 25'. Gave it to my son when he and his wife bought their first house. They set it up as a "closet".

I have seen, a long time ago, one set up with a very wide bottom section with no notches on the feet, and the top section the side rails came together.

I would have never climbed that whole ladder.
