    Channel cats are the best tasting IMO. I'm surprised you're limited to 6. We used to put out around 50 in Clarks Hill Lake between SC and GA. We'd stay up jug fishing all night and drinking beer. Fun times.

    That is an interesting technique. Over here in Australia, we don't do that style of fishing, in fact I had to look it up to find out what it was.

    The fishing laws in Texas generally reserved orange buoys for commercial fishing. A few exceptions being on a tout line there should be an orange buoy located near the shore with the fisherman's name address and phone number on a tag within 3 feet of the buoy.
    Juglines may have up to 5 hooks. Freshwater trout lines may have a maximum 50 hooks no closer than 3 feet apart.
