No way those are awesome! Regular chains take ages to put on. That looks simple by comparison. I want a set!

You might rethink your thought the first time you have install chains in the chain up area when the snow suddenly blows horizontal while you are buckling up your chains
Different drivers develop various methods for chaining up. The way I liked to do it was to drape my 3 railers over my drive axles a set of singles over the outside tires of the lead trailer axle and 1 chain for my left steer axle with most of the lose end behind the wheels Hook a couple of bungie cords from the lead links and as low as possible to the trailing links on the insides and outsides of the rails then drive forward a couple of feet then connect the ends tighten the cam locks on all of the chains add spider bungies on the outside to all chains then drive off before the other guys even had their chains stretched out on the ground. then remove them at the first opertunity

I am wondering how he got the backs attached? Perhaps the back side it permanently except for one link on the chain.

I do like the concept. Might adapt that for my old gravely to protect from thorns in the woods!!!
