I am a beginner, I have a Optimum d280x700 with fixed steady, travelling, 4 jaw, faceplate.
Also a Sherline, a Optimum small mill. Other interests are chemistry, electronics and computers.
The machinery are still being run in, nothing except a test piece has been turned. But, I have
watched may hours of youtube videos by MrPete222, oxtoolco, Keith Fenner, Joe Piecyznski.
I am looking forward to making some clamps, test bar, parellels etc.
