Being of long hair, I have one word for that: EEEEEEEEeeeeek!
I've had eyebrows and lashes and arm hair burned off in a gas explosion. When around fire I'm VERY careful with my flammable bits. Restaurants with lots of candles everywhere worry me.
Yes I shoot fireworks, my head is inside a Nomex balaclava.
The top left sign reminds me of when after a work dinner at a restaurant, I asked a newly arrived, jet-lagged American co-worker-to-be:
-You mind if I smoke?
His instant reply was: "I wouldn't mind even if you burned."
I'm thinking the guys hair is wet to begin with, then a little alcohol is added to the center and lit, so all that really burns is the alcohol and not the wet hair.
Is this a Lice treatment?
I can't imagine what the object of that was. Getting rid of excess oil? Does the barber have to flap him out – with a wet towel – if it doesn't burn out on its own? And the smell... I hate that burnt car smell. ;)
