I scrapped a whole houseload of fluorescent fixtures recently, and some were old enough to have separate ballast and this type of starter modules (installed in 1978). I saved the starters and ballasts thinking that they could be repurposed for something fun, but haven't figured out what.
The starters maybe could be used to make an array of lights blink randomly, such as in a Halloween tableau.I can't think of anything that would need 14-22vAC ad .340 amps. I'm open to suggestions.
