No matter how thick, or how often I am reassured of its strength, walking on glass always makes me nervous.

Interesting, did not know that existed. Not a chance I would walk on it! Even watching GIFs of this stuff gives me a minor anxious reaction. There is a mining-themed restaurant in the high country, with a glass-covered "miner's pit" by the bar. I can be tempted across it after a drink or two, as long as I am within a quick jump of the edge.

However, I would love to try a glass-bottomed boat one day.

I took a ride in a couple of glass bottom boats does that count?
Even talked the wife into going to the below deck of the semi submersible tour in Maui your get to walk around or sit while watching the underwater life your head is actually below the water line with huge windows in the lower hull from end end to end along both sides.
But I couldn't talk her into the two hour submarine tour that dives 150 feet to near the bottom of the sea you can really get a good view from the ports
