I guess I'm a DIYer or just cheap. Just for a little background, I'm fortunate to own several metal working machines that I use often to support my interests. On the bragging side I received several patents that only cost me money and died in time. Was named to Who's Who's in 1974 & 75. My building is 1800 sq feet filled up with goodies that only a man can appreciate. My partial equipment list consists of: Bridgeport mill, Cincinnati flattop lathe, B & S surface grinder, 2 drill presses, Rockwell 6 x 48 & 12" disk sander combo, 7 welders for alum tig, mig, stick, acy/oxy torch & spot welding, Hyd press, manual tube bender and high lift. There is a long list of support tooling that we all need. I've mostly been self employed through the years in the machine trade & injection molding world. Owning a machine shop to me is like a person owning a TV. I just couldn't live without one. In time, I'll post photo's for some of the items that I've built. Some I can't since thieves wanted them more, and off they went to wherever land. I look forward to be of service to the site and hope some of my ideas will help someone.
