In this video I make a cross peen hammer from a piece of truck axle. This steel was very tough to forge and with my poor punches and drifts it took a lot of time.
I left the part when my drift broke just to show how steel breaks when it's improperly heat treated.
For the handle I used a broken off axe handle that I got as a gift. I made it into an octogonal shape "Pin It")
