they all sound like a bunch of angry mosquitos
I wish they had made it apples to apples - same course, same microphone location, etc.
They're all tiny engines that rev to infinity. The last I heard in person was the V10 era, and they sounded better than a camera mic can record, but even then it was meh.Quote:

Sad that those sounds are gone.
Sadder still is that F1 is now owned by an American marketing company.
The race is more like a procession.
Aside from the lack of earth shaking technology, the fun stuff is gone.
In the old days those drivers rarely crashed into each other on purpose.
But when they did they really meant it.
