I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands of these events. They can probably get them because the equipment (torches) is 30 years old... they just don't have the resources for the recording devices to capture them for our enjoyment. Maybe in 30 years!Quote:

A machinist friend of mine would use a small gas motor and hook a hose to the exhaust of it and put the other end in the tank he was welding, no explosions!
I can see mostly burnt fuel and other emissions keeping unburned gas and vapor from igniting, that's using the ol' noggin.Quote:
