    That would be a bad case of antifreeze in the oil. I've seen this a number of times with blown head gaskets or cracked blocks. If a lot of antifreeze gets into the oil and is cooked with engine heat it turns the oil into this Jello like substance.

    If you can get it repaired quickly and before your journal bearings go out you can get the jello out with Varsol. Not saying they should, but they can.

    Back in the sixties I worked at a gas station that had an engine flushing machine for cars that used non detergent oil back in in the 40' 50's etc. I never used it. One day a 1946 Ford came in for service and it had a drain plug that was huge. The boss told me it was that big so when the flush machine was used all the sludge could come out while solvent was pumped in. Crazy stuff.
