Also known as cast iron pipe cutter. Not really made for splitting geodes!
You beat me to it. Snap cutter. I wonder that rock isn't eating the cutting 'wheels' meant for clay & cast [aka soil] pipe. Wheels is mis-leading, as the cut action occurs without rotation, just concentrated pressure encircling the OD. Even a little guy [me] can snap good size pipe, with one handle on solid ground. Must be cast, or fired clay, pointless on DOM, rolled or any kind of steel.Quote:

Clay pipe is an interesting material, and cuts in spectacular fashion, via snap cutter. Especially when there are few convenient alternates.
Inside the building roof drain stand pipes [2 of 3] haven't been pulled down yet, nor how to best utilize sewer connection they represent. Upper ends aren't connected, and they don't emit fumes [detectable] at all. Breaking down cast 8" will need someone a 150 lbs younger than me, lol.
