The pump looks interesting. What is it used for?

The embedded video explains that this Water Powered pump is used to pump Water from a lower
level to a higher level by utilising the free energy inherent in flowing water. It does not require any combustible fuel, like gas or diesel, to operate and neither does it require any supply of electricity.
While water powered pumps have been around for many centuries none of them were positive displacement pumps and nowhere near as efficient as this novel water powered positive displacement pump.
Pumps are an absolutely essential part of life. Without pumps we would all be dead.
