That looks useful. I think it might be a nice addition to my tool kit.

I occasionally use one of those pull spring center punches. I don't really like it too much, it's hard to hold the small end down and pull up the spring without pulling the point off center.
This looks better because you get to hold the back end and pull against your other hand.

Starrett auto center punches are great for prick punching, but not always able to mark deep enough for larger drills.
