Giant hedge cutter made from WWII AEC Matador

Enormous hedge cutter, converted from an WWII AEC Matador.

I'm not sure if this is the exact method I would use for this job, and I'm glad this guy doesn't live within 50 miles of me. Nevertheless, it makes quick work of that hedge.

As a horticulturist, I never saw the point in hedging (except for safety & then it is a planning issue). Much rather see the beauty of fur, box or lily pillys etc.

Ok for the queen and sultan.

long ago I had a girlfriend who lived on a plot of land in the middle of an orange grove. I remember watching the tree trimmers, giant machines with I think 5 very large circular saw blades on them, the blades and arm spun while they drove down between the trees. Nice clean rows for when it comes time for picking.

I may have the details off a bit, that was back when I remembered what to do with a girlfriend.
