Only pivots front to back not a gimbal a gimbal would also pivot left to right.

Ralph, most of the movement you have to worry about is across the keel, not along it. But there are marine stoves in two dimensional gimbals. They’re a bitch to use and usually do not have an oven, as the gimbal frame blocks access.
