    I suppose with the proper wheel and the water cooling, you could do glass or plastic.

    I am wondering about putting the blank into the machine. It appears the blank was not centered to start. I realize that would not be significant as long as there was enough material left to get the final shape.

    Would that how your eye lines up with the axis of the lens in regard to vision correction?

    I may be wrong but I think the reason for appearing to be off center is the center of the optic grind would be placed in the machine corresponding with the prescription metrics
