Glock leather holster
Hi all!
I bought a new glock 26 a few days ago:)
I'm trying to make a leather holster, compact, with clip
Seller advised me to buy thick raw leather for this project, I also bought the tool for path (economic version, pro is 5 times the price) and a dyeing dark brown in solvent "D'inferno" , it smells terrible!
I think I did something bad, I put leather in water, and molding was easy... but at the end of fast drying, clothespins leaved many signs on leather, I don't know If I can delete or It's better to cut another piece of leather.
I've not found spring clip unfortunately, I tried to make one from inox 2mm thick, not a best job... but a smart try  . As soon as I find a nice clip I buy it
Any advice welcome!

Hi rendoman
Try bulldog clips metal office type, lined with thin leather or plastic clamped next to each other.
It has worked for me as it spreads the pressure and only leaves a slight flat edge.
Worth a try on a piece of scrap.

Getting there! The Bull Dog clips is a good idea and can get at the stationary or even big box stores...inexpensive.

Hi!
I will try another holster with Bulldog clip!
I finished sewing, I have to find a good hollow punch tool for waxed twine, I used 2mm drill bit, but it's not a perfect job:(
Luckily the holster keeps the glock in perfect position, It's needed some strenght to pull out the pistol.
I will add a reinforcement in the top area, because leather is too soft to push with thumb, and trim the contour.
I used acetone dark brown and two hands of white shoe polish.
