Thanks Jon, actually I'm trying to build a maker space, community workshop, whatever the latest buzz word is. If its a maker space I thought most of the tools should be made there. I have most of the basic wood working tools and metal working tools.

Sounds fun. Agreed, toolmaking is a perfect maker activity, and can apply to a wide spectrum of ability levels.
