Greetings!
Howdy all!
I've been a subscriber to the email list for a long time, and finally registered for the forum.
Hopefully today I'll have my drill press so my fabrication abilities will be increased!
I'm just hoping that the Fed Ex Ground Driver does not pull the same lazy a$$ lying bovine excrement shenanigans as Wednesday. He claimed a "Weather Exception" on the best day weather/road wise all week!
Anyhoo, I'm a Retired USAF Aircraft Maintainer living the dream out on the prairie of eastern Montana.
Cheers,
Oly

Hi Oly,
Welcome and Happy New Year - we're glad to have you here! :welcome:
You'll definitely find a few of us old pilots and airplane mechanics hereabouts. Must be something in the water! Hope your drill press shows up today; what are you planning on building with it first?
When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.
Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.

Thanks Ken!
It just arrived and now I have build it!
After snapping two drill bits while trying to use a hand drill, I finally just broke down and bought it!
My stalled project is not a tool, but a stand for a coyote decoy. If it would have arrived on Wednesday I'd be out calling song dogs this morning!
I'll snap some pics today during the build.
The real reason for the delay was that t he driver could not top off his truck due to a power outage. That tidbit of info would have solved me a lot of heartache!

Hi TRBrew - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
Nice to have you on board. Looking forward to checking out that coyote decoy stand - we have our share of nuisance coyotes here in Colorado too. :gunfire:
